Jerec first appeared in the video game *Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II*. In the game, he serves as the primary antagonist, leading a team of dark Jedi in their quest to find and exploit the Valley of the Jedi.
His plans were ultimately thwarted by Kyle Katarn, a Jedi Knight who opposed Jerec's dark ambitions. Their final confrontation resulted in Jerec's death, preventing him from achieving his goal of ultimate power.
